wandering in wonder

sharing, on a pilgrims journey

about the blogger

Hello! ‘Joy’ here! I’m new to this blogging malarkey!                   starlightlowres.jpg

I was inspired by Advent 2007 blogging project, www.themockingbirdsleap.wordpress.com which encourages people to be attentive during this Advent time.

I was touched by that, and liked the reminder that we can miss so much by going along obvlious, when everyday miracles happen around us and oftentimes we don’t notice, or even look for them.

So I thought I’d ‘join in’ and share a few thoughts that may come to me with any fellow travellers on the pilgrim road!

(oh, and I love stars…hence pics…I’ll explain sometime soon…!!)

  1. Hi Joy.
When you named your blog, were you thinking, “I wander as I wander out under the sky”…
Do tell me about the stars…

  2. Hi Cheryl,
just found your comment! sorry for slow reply!
no, wasn’t thinking of Wordsworth, more of the idea behind the mockingbirdsleap idea and looking for grace, being attentive…
and a deliberate double use of ‘wonder’ – as in ‘wow, amazing’ kind of wonder, and the ‘i wonder…’ questioning type of wonder.
how about your ‘wonders’ bit in your blog name? i had a look at your blog too… lovely stuff… :0)
I’ll post something about the stars soon!!
