wandering in wonder

sharing, on a pilgrims journey

blinding light

I’ve been struck recently by how light can come through another,

as though they become God’s channel of light for me…

perhaps shining so bright it’s almost blinding.

I worried it could distract me from God to see such light and beauty in another human,

but I think it’s God’s design, that we see – and appreciate – God in each other.

  1. Nice to read someone else thinking & discovering light in the people made in God’s image.

It seems to me that this is one of those basics of Biblical theology that has got lost in abstract philosophical discussions of predestination and premillennialism etc.

    Keep sharing your light!

  2. yes, you’re right…and we’re almost scared to admit we see God’s light in people (would it be heretical?!!).
but if we’re all made in the image of God, then we can learn something of God from everyone… it’s just easier to find it in some people than in others!
